Paradise Greens was blessed to support Arizona Disabled sports at their 19th Annual Fundraiser this year! The event recognized two outstanding athletes for their performance in adaptive sports programs. As well, a silent auction, live auction, dinner, music and dancing dressed up the evening. The fundraiser supports AzDs in its mission to provide quality sports and recreation programs for individuals with disabilities.

The Platform Arizona Disabled Sports

After all, competition is just a part of who we are as people. Seems like it’s that way from the time we are young. We love nothing better than to kick, run, swim and challenge ourselves with sports. AzDs aims to provide those same opportunities to people with different abilities. Most athletes who participate in AzDs do not view themselves as disabled at all. Rather, they are people with different abilities who compete on a different competitive plain. Many of these athletes are in much better shape than those of use with normal abilities.

AzDs allows these athletes to maximize their abilities by providing them with a venue for competition. Paralympic competition activities provided by AzDs are the best in Arizona. In fact, they are classified as a Gold level US Paralympic Sports Club. AzDs has provided these sports competitions since 1989.

As such, we are proud to stand by these athletes. It is our honor and privilege to be a part of this fundraiser. in fact, we support several charitable organizations across the state on a regular basis. We love to acknowledge the diversity Arizona offers and supports. Seems like we live in a pretty amazing state full of incredible people. Therefore, when we were asked to be a part, there was never a question. We said yes! Paradise Greens will look forward to next year’s fundraiser. Also, we will be at the events to support these athletes! And we look forward to supporting Arizona Disabled Sports for years to come!
