- Aren’t all synthetic grass systems the same?

- Is it okay to have artificial grass around pools?
Yes, our grass and putting green products can go around any pool and pool surface. Our perforated material allows for water to properly flow through into the drainage base that has been applied underneath (does not get muddy).
- Is Paradise Greens Turf™ pet friendly?
Absolutely! Our pet grass systems are used for dog runs and pet resorts throughout the southwest! Since our pet grass systems are made specifically for pets, the urine will drain through our non-absorbing materials and the drainage base designed to migrate water away from the grass. Since our pet friendly grass is non-absorbing, it cannot harbor any odor. The feces can be scooped and discarded and the remainder hosed off without harming the grass in any way. If you live in an area where there isn’t much rain to push the urine through the sub base, an odor may reside in the sub base material. A simple periodic spray with dishwashing soap or baking soda will relieve that situation. Your pets will also be protected from eating real grass that has been sprayed with harmful chemicals that could cause cancer! - How much water would I really save by using your grass?

- Is it okay to place lawn chairs, trampolines or playgrounds on the artificial grass?
Great question! You will not have any issues placing furniture on our lawn products. Paradise Greens offers several excellent choices for commercial and residential applications under playground systems that exceed impact standards and provide a safe allergy free environment!
- What maintenance will be required?
Artificial grass has very little maintenance if any. If you have a landscape service they may use a blower to blow off any debris you have. You may also use a plastic rake or stiff bristle broom.
- Does Paradise Greens Turf™ have a warranty?
Yes, our warranty covers fade, sub-base, wear and seam rupture, unlike other companies that only cover fade. The manufacturer endeavors to use the highest quality materials and the latest manufacturing techniques in the production of Synthetic Turf. The manufacturer guarantees its Synthetic Turf products against defects in the material or workmanship, resulting in premature wear, during ordinary and normal use of the product(s) for 7-10 YEARS from the date of installation depending on lawn or putting green product.
- Will the grass fade?
Our grass is guaranteed not to fade as part of the warranty. No special UV sprays are necessary with our grass.
- What Happens in fifteen years?
The grass tips become brittle and shear off at a slow rate, becoming shorter over time. This will not be apparent to the untrained eye as the changes are slight, over an extended time frame. Replacement of the turf is typically 60% of original cost, as the base prep is already completed.
- How is the grass priced?
The grass is priced on a per square foot basis which can be figured by taking the width x length.
- How much does the grass cost?
That's a tough one due to all the variables such as ground prep requirements, access to the area, size of the job, etc. Providing a site survey will give you accurate answers to all your questions and specific recommendations on what options will serve you best for years to come. - Does water drain through the grass? / What about when it rains?
Yes, our grass is perforated throughout to allow for water to properly flow through into the drainage base that has been applied underneath (does not get muddy). The drainage rate is 40 gallons per.
- Does the grass mold or mildew?
Due to the non-absorbing nature of the materials used and the drainage base designed to migrate water away from the grass, mold and mildew is not an issue.
- How hot does the grass get?
The grass does not stay as cool as natural grass, but does not absorb and radiate heat like pavement, rock or brick. Even through summer heat, your Paradise™ lawn will remain pleasantly functional.
- Will the grass catch fire?
The grass is non-flammable.
- Will the grass harbor any bugs?
Since the grass has no organic value, the bugs have nothing to feed on and therefore will move on to a yard with real grass.
